Welcome to Scuba Network India - we have created this site with one goal in mind: to become the hub for all things diving related in India.

Whether it is advice on gear, travel info or general articles and videos about diving, our goal is to provide balanced, unbiased advice and information, and also build a community of divers in the country.

So who is this mysterious "we" that we are talking about?

Scuba Network India is the brainchild of Vandit Kalia, aka Vinnie - the original lost soul who left a corporate gig as a management consultant in the US to start DIVEIndia in the Andamans, way back in 2003, before selling the company 20 years later. Vinnie has been diving since 1991, and is trimix certified and is an Instructor Trainer with SSI (and was formerly an Instructor Trainer with NAUI and a Staff Instructor with PADI as well).

However, Scuba Network India is not just him standing on his soapbox and yelling at clouds preaching to divers.

SNI shall be bringing together expertise, opinions and stories from all sections of the Indian diving community - professionals, marine biologists and conservationists, experienced divers and new divers.
